MBABANE: Inyatsi Construction, a company with alleged links to King Mswati has suspended its operations along the Sicunusa-Nhlangano road after the bombing of its E2million worth machinery allegedly, by the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces (SISF).
King Mswati had earlier arrogantly told those calling for democratic reforms that everything that would burn in the country would be interpreted as a direct attack to him as the King, adding that eSwatini belonged to him.
The suspension of operations was announced by the Company’s Managing Director Sandile Mhlanga through a press statement on Wednesday.
"The attack, which resulted in the destruction of machinery and equipment, has necessitated a temporary suspension of operations. This suspension will harshly impact everyone who relies on the project,”reads the statement in part.
Reached for comments, Gift Dlamini, the Deputy Secretary General (DSG) of the Swaziland Liberation Movement (SWALIMO) said this was a sign that the sponsors of this evil regime were feeling the pinch.
"In as much as we are not directly and indirectly linked to the arson attacks, whosoever is doing it, is hitting this regime where it matters most,”he said.
