TORTURING DEPUTY COMMISSIONER SAM MTHEMBU’S LAST WORDS: Ungasangifunti ngoba vele sengiyafa.

MBABANE: Deputy National Commissioner Sam Mthembu, the alleged serial killer who tortured and  murdered dozens of civilians  allegedly told a health worker at Mavuso Trade Centre not to give him food, a few minutes later, he died.

The Deputy Commissioner allegedly died of COVID-19, it is alleged that he contracted the virus while on his way to Pretoria Home Affairs Offices to trace this journalist.

“Ungasangifunti ngoba vele sengiyafa(meaning: Don’t give me food because I’m now dying)”, the late Deputy Commissioner allegedly said. 

One of the health workers who was taking care of Mthembu told this journalist that a few minutes later, the senior torturing cop died after uttering those words.

Before he died, Mthembu had been tasked with tracing and killing this journalist , he was due for retirement in July 2021. The senior cop was accused of killing PUDEMO member Sipho Jele, at the time he was a Desk Officer at Manzini Police Station and after killing Jele, he was promoted to higher ranks until he became the Deputy National Commissioner.
