MBABANE: Controversial Prophet Vusumuzi Brother ‘Major V’ Dlamini was on Wednesday morning arrested by the police and charged with the theft of Nine Hundred Thousand Emalangeni(E900,000.00).
Court documents in our possession suggest that Dlamini allegedly committed the offence on or about 03 February 2022 at or near the Swaziland Building Society.
“The accused person is charged with the offence of theft in that upon, or about 03rd of February 2022 and at or near Swaziland Building Society, in the Hhohho Region, the said accused person being a holder of a Swaziland Building Society bank account number 52000362621 did unlawfully and intentionally, acting in furtherance of a common purpose steal money amounting to E900 000.00(Nine Hundred Thousand Emalangeni only), the said money being a property or in the lawful possession of Melusi Dalton Malinga of Swaziland Building Society and did thereby commit the crime of theft”, reads the charge sheet in part.
The controversial Prophet appeared at the Magistrate Court in Mbabane on Wednesday and remanded into custody, he then ran to the High Court and filed a bail application.
