SIMUNYE:The two youth members from Lomahasha who stand accused of burning Mbokojweni High School on Sunday night have been charged with terrorism.

Njabulo Masilela and Tshepo Gamedze allegedly burnt the school after mobilizing  residents to fix potholes in the area's roads, they were violently dispersed by the police.

Speaking to this Swaziland News, lawyer Maxwell Nkhambule confirmed that his clients have been charged with terrorism and would soon appear before the High Court.

"What's surprising is that the desk officer has been playing games pretending that they would appear today at Simunye while they knew they would be referring them to the High Court for terrorism and malicious damage to property charges,”he said.

Reached for comments, Siboniso Mkhabela, the the People\'s United Democratic  Movement (PUDEMO) Head of International Relations wondered how the burning of papers and furniture amounted to terrorism.

"As the progressive people of Lomahasha we maintain our stance. We want a total dismantling of the oppressive royal aristocratic minority. This Sunday we are going back to road to patch the remaining potholes. If we must all be arrested for patching potholes ,so be it,”he said.
