MBABANE: Saudi Arabia’s Special Envoy and Advisor Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Qattan has arrived in the Kingdom of eSwatini to deliver a special message to King Mswati, Government has announced through an online statement.
“Prime Minister Cleopas Sipho Dlamini receives a courtesy call from Saudi Arabia Special Envoy and Advisor at the Royal Court, Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Qattan. The Special Envoy is here to deliver a special message to His Majesty King Mswati III on behalf of Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud,” read an online statement by Government.
When this publication reached Thabile Mdluli, the Deputy Government Spokesperson to clarify the purpose of the visit, she declined to respond to questions.
Reached for comments, Wandile Dludlu, the Secretary General of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) said most dictators have a relationship with King Mswati.
“You will note that most dictators have a relationship with Mswati and some of them when they arrive here, we are told that they have a special message for him. The questionable integrity of the these leaders who interact with Mswati tells us what kind of a person he is,” said the PUDEMO Secretary General.
