MBABANE: Timothy Myeni, the Nkilongo Member of Parliament(MP) has challenged Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini to come out clear about the date of the political dialogue amid the escalating violence in the country.
Speaking in Parliament on Thursday, the Nkilongo MP used Standing Order number 58 and asked other MPs to support him in demanding answers about the date of the political dialogue.
“We are living in fear, violence is escalating in this country and we don’t know what will happen tomorrow. Can the Honorable Prime Minister come out clear, when is the “soon” for the political dialogue is”, said the MP.
Responding to the MP, Speaker Petros Mavimbela said the concerns of the Nkilongo MP were genuine but asked him to use Standing Order number 32.
“Your concern Mhlonishwa is genuine and understandable but if a matter is of public importance, can we at least use Standing Order number 32 so that other MPs can debate it”, said the Speaker.
