MBABANE: A car belonging to Wandile Dludlu, the Secretary General of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) was on Monday evening petrol bombed, no one has claimed responsibility.
This comes a few days after this Swaziland News exposed that King Mswati allegedly issued an order to burn properties belonging to political activists.
Reached for comments, the PUDEMO Secretary General confirmed that his car was burnt.
“It’s true that this is my car, it was petrol bombed,” he said.
The PUDEMO Secretary General disclosed that the car was worth one hundred and fixity(R150,000.00).
Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the eSwatini Police Spokesperson had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
The political crisis in eSwatini is fast reaching a boiling point as the King intensify a crackdown on pro-democracy activists.
