MBABANE: Dorcas Dlamini, the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy has announced another fuel price increase with effect from Friday 08 April 2022.
In a press statement realesed on Wednesday, the PS said the main reason for the fuel price increase was the crude oil price increase and the disruption of the supply caused by recent Russian and Ukraine conflicts thus putting pressure on the international fuel product prices.
“The unleaded petrol (ULP 95) price will increase from E18.55/litre to E19.05/ per litre, Diesel ( 0.005%S) price will increase from E18.60 litre to E19.60/ litre and the paraffin price from E13.35/litre to E14.35/ litre.
Reached for comments the Chairperson of the Swaziland Liberation Movement (SWALIMO) Busisiwe Mayisela said the people were already suffering because of the poor economy.
“Our people are already suffering because the economy is not performing well,it is also badly managed by the Government”, she said.
