MANZINI:Liphimbo LaboMake has pledged to donate three (3) pairs of prosthetic legs for the Swaziland Massacred Victims and Survivors Association(SWAVISA)worth One Hundred and Fifty-Five Thousand Six Hundred Rands (R155,600.00).
Liphimbo LaboMake is a women movement amplifying women voices in eSwatini in all sectors of life.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Wednesday,Bongiwe Mango, the Liphimbo LaboMake Chairperson confirmed the pledge and thanked their partners for the support.
“SWAVISA is every Swazi and we are grateful to have contributed to the most vulnurable group in eSwatini.We are also thankful to our partners who have supported us,international partners and donors like the Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa (OSISA)", she said.
Reached for comments, Madzabudzabu Kunene, the SWAVISA Chairperson thanked the women organisation for restoring the dignity of the June massacre victims and survivors.
“This will benefit three (3)victims and survivors ,we humbly extend our gratitude to Liphimbo LaboMake, we would like to urge other organizations to also support us with anything they have,”said the SWAVISA Chairperson.
SWAVISA is an organisation formed by survivors of the June massacre after King Mswati unleashed his forces to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.
