MBABANE: Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini has instructed his legal team to demand all the documents and laptops seized by Mswati’s police when they raided his home on or around the 25th February 2020.
The editor said he wanted those documents and laptops in good conduction and with all the information that was seized by the police.
“Just this afternoon,I issued an instruction to the legal team to demand those documents and the laptops.I want to use the documents to prove my case in court. If the laptops come back tempered with and with missing files that would be their own problem. You can’t use your absolute powers and grab my evidence, then rush to court", he said.
Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the police Spokesperson had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
The editor is involved in a legal battle with King Mswati and his Government over the ongoing publication of critical articles.
