NCOBILE DUBE:Will Tinkhundla supporters pay less on increased bus fares?

MBABANE: Ncobile Dube, a Swazi citizen has asked if those who are supporting the current Tinkhundla system will pay less after the recently announced increased bus fares.

Commenting on this publication’s  Facebook page after the shocking increased bus fares, Dube wondered if those who protects this regime will not pay the increased fares.

“Kujabula boMangololo they will pay less than comrades.I still choose the side of the massss that are barely surviving in this farm”, she said.

Commuters will from Friday 22nd April 2022 be expected to pay about R33.10 for a journey from Mbabane to Manzini, Sabelo Dlamini, the Secretary General of the Swaziland Local Kombis Association confirmed to this Swaziland News.

According to documents in possession of this Swaziland News, commuters are expected to pay R10.00 for short distances.The fare for the distance between Mbabane and Manzini is expected  to increase by R6.60 from the current R 26.50.

Chief Ndlaluhlaza Ndwandwe, the Minister of Public Works and Transport had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
