LIMPOPO: Sakhile ‘Awuviva' Nxumalo, the newly elected President of PUDEMO’s Youth League, the Swaziland Youth Congress(SWAYOCO) was showered with gifts by Sicelo Mngomezulu, the lawyer representing pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube.
This was during the 12th SWAYOCO Congress held at Limpopo on Saturday, Nxumalo, the influential member of the Swaziland National Association of Students(SNUS) was elected unopposed.
“I would like to congratulate you Nxumalo,we have seen you on the ground working.Your first gift will come from me because now that you are the President you will participate in various meetings that require formal wear. You will also receive a laptop that you will use to do your job, if you were married, I would have given you a weekend for two”, said the lawyer representing the pro-democracy MPs.
The lawyer further donated two hundred(200) t-shirts to the SWAYOCO President adding that he would use those t-shirts when recruiting other young people to join SWAYOCO.
