MBABANE: Pholile Dlamini-Shakantu, the Acting Minister of Home Affairs has announced that the Workers Day Public Holiday has been shifted to Monday.
In a public statement released on Thursday, the Minister said this was in accordance with the Public Holiday Act which states that “if any such day falls on a Sunday the following Monday shall be observed as a public holiday”.
She said the day appointed under this Act as a public holiday “is considered to be a non-business day”.
