King Mswati and his capitalist business partner Neal Rijikernberg, the Minister of Finance must be stopped from securing the R5billion loan.
Now it’s the time to lobby the international community and financial institutions not to offer any loan to a regime that is falling, this Government does not have any financial capacity to pay back the loan, they are just creating debts for the coming new democratic Government.
It should be noted that any loan offered to this Government is not intended to help the people but to be looted by Mswati and his business partners that include Inyatsi’s Michello Shakantu and Neal Rijikernberg.
Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg has been lying trying to justify that Government is not broke when the reality on the ground suggests that Mswati has looted almost everything.
King Mswati turned this country into political jungle where the powerful consume taxes from the powerless and now, as his children grow, the large number of ‘lions’ that survive with meat cannot survive because most Swazis are broke.
Perhaps let me remind Mswati and his Finance Minister that this Government is struggling to provide drugs in hospitals, employ health workers and teachers, pay scholarships for University students and mantain roads both in urban and rural areas.
Furthermore, this Government is failing to pay suppliers, fund Free Primary Education(FPE) and increase salaries for civil servants among others.
These are indications of a failed State and or a fallen Government trying so hard to breathe.
Mswati’s Government tried to increase electricity, water, fuel and Value Added Tax(VAT), tax for ‘ Dubais’ but the situation is getting worse because the people have no money.
Mswati must be stopped from using our country as surety to secure loans for himself and his business partners like Neal Rijikernberg.
One politician who was working closely with Mswati once said to me “this government does not have any political future because those in power does not have any formula to generate revenue but to consume more taxes”.
In conclusion, it is worth mentioning that the process of investigating Mswati’s assets and monies abroad should start now, his off-shore accounts must be frozen and the money stolen from public coffers must be transferred back to the country to be used by a democratically elected Government in taking care of the people.
