MANZINI: Menzi Foundation has successfully hosted its first Maskandi Festival on Saturday evening.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, Menzi Tsabedze, the brains behind Menzi Foundation and the Maskandi Festival appreciated the support of the hundreds of emaSwati that showed up at the inaugural Maskandi festival at the Manzini Club.
“We had a beautiful line up which included Khuzani, Bonakele and 20 local artists.Hundreds of emaSwati managed to show up for the event and the proceeds will be donated towards charity, we are looking forward to a much better event next year,”said the Menzi Foundation Director.
Menzi foundation has donated food hampers to elderly people in the Lubombo region and is in the process of constructing houses for the homeless.
