INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY:Union urges Government to invest in nurses education.

MBABANE: Mayibongwe Masangane, the Secretary General of the Swaziland Democratic Nurses Union (SWADNU)has urged Government to invest in nursing education in order for them to respond better to health challenges.

In an International Nurses Day message sent to this Swaziland News on Thursday, the SWADNU Secretary General said this was according to this year's  Nurses' Day theme.

“As the theme of the Nurses Day which says Nurses, A Voice To Lead- Invest In Nursing And Secure Right To Global Health. We urge Government to invest in nursing education to equip nurses to better respond to health challenges that are prevailing at any time. Invest in nursing research to validate evidence base thus the correct intervention”, he said.
