MBABANE: Sive Siyinqaba National Movement has come out to announce that they are now aware of those behind the ongoing State sponsored petrol bombings on leaders of the pro-democracy movement.
In a public statement sent to this Swaziland News on Friday, the political organization said their preliminary investigations have identified poor military precision in the recent attacks.
Vibrant Lobamba Lomdzala Member of Parliament(MP) Marwick Khumalo and former Senate Deputy President Ngomyayona Gamedze who are both senior members of Sive Siyinqaba National Movement are recent victims of the ongoing attacks on political leaders who are calling for democratic reforms.
MP Marwick Khumalo who has been pushing Government inside Parliament to conclude the process of a political dialogue had his home at Ezulwini petrol bombed on Wednesday morning.
“Preliminary investigation in the arson attacks have identified poor military precision in the recent attacks with the financial hand of some known elements in the private sector who are oiling the operations. The names of a few junior members of a sector within the security cluster who are made to commit these heinous crimes have been identified and are being further investigated. Privately owned sedans are used in the process,” reads the statement released by the National Executive Commitee of Sive Siyinqaba.
Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the police Spokesperson had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
After this Swaziland News exclusively reported that King Mswati ordered the petrol bombing of properties belonging to leaders of the pro-democracy movement, indeed, the attacks subsequently manifested into reality as per the report.
The information was shared by a senior member of one of the security forces who works closely with the King.
