MBABANE:Joe Biden,the President of the United States has promised force and to defend Taiwan from any attack by China, Aljazeera has reported.

Eswatini,a tiny Kingdom situated in Southern Africa and ruled by King Mswati,is the only diplomatic ally to Taiwan.

Biden made the remarks on Monday while visiting Japan, where “he is in the second leg of his first trip to East Asia since taking office last year”.

Responding to a reporter’s questions about Taiwan during a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Biden said defending Taiwan was a “commitment we made”.
