King Mswati must be reported to the International Criminal Court(ICC) for deliberately destroying the health system, resulting to the deaths of thousands of Swazis.
It should be noted that before destroying the public health system,Mswati built his own Manzana Royal Hospital and subsequently ventured into the business of owning private clinics with his equally corrupt business partner Michello Shakantu.
Now, Swazis who can’t afford to seek medical care from private clinics, perhaps, due to the high-level of poverty in this country are pushed to death, they visit public hospitals only for prescriptions, those who are ‘lucky’ receive painkillers.
It is important to highlight that the conduct of Mswati who destroyed the health system, resulting to the death of thousands of Swazis now amounts to genocide.
Indeed,a genocide is the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular Nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that Nation or group. This is exactly what King Mswati is doing, his mission is to destroy the Swazi Nation.
It’s a pity that the international community always raises a voice whenever people die during protests.
But without ignoring the ongoing crimes against humanity in the midst of the political unrest,we need to demand justice for the patients who, as you read this article, are dying in the various hospitals due to the shortage of food and drugs.
Perhaps,it is important to state that I was among the journalists who attended a press conference at the Cabinet office on or around 2016, Sibusiso Barnabas Dlamini, the then Prime Minister was presenting a report subsequent to an investigation into the health crisis.
Mswati through Barnabas had commissioned an investigation that was headed by Prince Sikelela Dlamini, the then Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology(ICT)and the findings pointed figures to technicalities in the procurement process within government and or the Ministry of Health.
It is very important to clarify that the investigation was conducted just to pool the wool in the eyes of the public, the truth is, government has been struggling to pay suppliers of drugs after the looting of public funds by Mswati.
As mentioned, there is sufficient evidence amounting to reasonable belief that Mswati is committing a genocide by destroying the health system and action must taken against him.
When the Swaziland Democratic Nurses Union(SWADNU) made efforts through protests and even went as far as taking Government to court demanding drugs and working equipment in the various hospitals, the public kept quiet, but now the very same Swazis are dying.
As a Nation,we must learn to prevent looming disasters before they manifest into reality, this Government long-collapsed, it is now surviving by paying salaries for civil servants and we are not sure if this would be sustained.
Mswati and his Mother Queen Ntombi Tfwala have been hospitalized many times but survived after receiving quality health care within their family hospital and outside the country.
It is very unfortunate that even those who are supporting Mswati are waiting to die, the health crisis is a threat to the right to life and as a Nation we need to take serious action against Mswati.
Collecting taxes and looting public funds while disregarding service delivery and or neglecting the health system, does not only amounts to fraud and corruption but undermines fundamental human rights particularly the right to life.

King Mswati.
