MALKERNS:Lethokuhle Manzini, the Communications Volunteer for the Eswatini Solidarity Fund says the organisation will release a full report on political unrest victims they have assisted since June last year.
Speaking to this Swaziland News at the Bush Fire Festival on Saturday, the Eswatini Solidarity Fund Communications Volunteer said the organisation was established in July last year shortly after the June 29 political unrest.
“This organisation was established to respond to the tragedies of the unrest , our purpose is to assist the the injured , the jailed and those who lost their beloved ones.We don't have the numbers yet, but we will release our annual report this coming June. We have assisted a number of Swazis by paying for their medical bills, food and wheelchairs",she said.
The Eswatini Solidarity Fund is currently at the Bush Fire Festival in Malkerns to raise funds to assist the June 29 political unrest victims.
The organisation was established after King Mswati unleashed his forces to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.
