SOLIDARITY FORCES EXECUTIVE COMMAND WARNS:Don’t dare touch NNLC President Sibongile Mazibuko.

MBABANE:The Executive Command of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) has warned State police officers and soldiers not to dare touch Sibongile Mazibuko, the President of the Ngwane National Liberatory Congress(NNLC).

The Executive Command took a resolution to protect all pro-democracy leaders from persecution by the State,according to royal insiders,an order was issued to burn Mazibuko’s home.

“We want to state categorically that we will protect all pro-democracy leaders regardless of political affiliation,once they touch Sibongile Mazibuko,we will react like we did when they tortured Colani Maseko.We are here to protect the people and their political leaders, the State must know that any persecution from now onwards directed to the pro-democracy movement will result to a retaliation”,said the Spokesperson of the Solidarity Forces.

Thabile Mdluli, the Deputy Government Spokesperson had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

Reached for comments, Sibongile Mazibuko, the President of the Ngwane National Liberatory Congress(NNLC) said even though she was not aware of the members of the Solidarity Forces, she knew that God used anyone to protect his people.

“I am aware that my name is on the list of those who must be attacked by the State agents, they want to burn my property and attempts have been made.I welcome the support from anyone who wants to protect me and other leaders, we must protect each other. After receiving the information, I tried to strengthen security but as mentioned any protection is welcomed.It is important to state that despite the threats, I will not stop calling for democratic reforms,” said the NNLC President.
