Reached for comments,Sabelo Dlamini, the Secretary General of the Eswatini Local Kombis Association (ELKA) said there were not aware of any shutdown adding that their employees never engaged them on the issues they were complaining about.

“We are operating normally, our employees never engaged us on their grievances maybe we could have found ways to support them. We just saw in the media that they would be a shutdown,”said the Secretary General of the Local Kombis Association.

On another note, Muzi Nhleko, the founding member of the Eswatini Kombis, Buses and Allied Workers Union(EKABAU) when addressing the media on Monday said workers were demanding better working conditions including a salary increment among others.
