King Mswati linked Inyatsi Construction suspends operations amid attacks, Solidarity Forces Commander to intensify operation

MANZINI: Inyatsi Construction, a company with alleged links to King Mswati has suspended it’s operations amid attacks by the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF).

This was revealed by Derrick Shiba, the Inyatsi Managing Director during a press conference held within the company’s offices in Manzini on Tuesday.

“Inyatsi has suspended operations for a week because of the terrorism attacks”, said the Managing Director.

Reached for comments, the Commander of the Solidarity Forces said they would continue with their programme of dislodging Inyatsi from capturing the Swazi economy, he described the company as a conduit for royal looting.

“We will continue with our programme unabated and we will make sure that Inyatsi and all her subsidiaries are dislodged from capturing the Swazi economy, and a fair and competitive space is opened for every eligible Swazi business”, he said.

The Commander of the Solidarity Forces said for now they were focusing on Inyatsi but clarified that they were aware of other companies that have monopolized the Swazi economy by corrupting and being a conduit for the royal looting.

“All those companies remain our targets,” said the Commander.

Inyatsi became a target by the pro-democracy Solidarity Forces after King  Mswati with the assistance of business allies unleashed soldiers and the police to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.

It has been disclosed that that in the midst of the growing calls for democratic reforms, Inyatsi Director Michello Shakantu and his business partner Mswati have been intensifying the looting of public resources.
