MBABANE:Police officers within the Mbabane Police Headquarters are forced to relieve themselves in nearby bushes amid a water crisis affecting the Police Service and some Government Ministries.

Reached for comments, Alpheous Nxumalo, the Government Spokesperson referred comments to Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson.

“Kindly touch base with the police Spokesperson”,he said.

Superintendent Phindile Vilakati had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

Speaking to this Swaziland News, Oscar Nkambule, the President of the National Public Service and Allied Workers Union(NAPSAWU) confirmed that some Government offices were also facing a water crisis.

“It’s true, there is no water in various Government offices in Mbabane and the situation has been like this for a week now. This is an indication that this Government does not prioritize service delivery but it is concerned about looting monies for one man,”said the NAPSAWU President.
