MBABANE: Moses Vilakati, the Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs met Turkish Embassy’s Commercial Counsellor Bengü Okur Erdoğan to discuss among others, the support for the Lubombo Game Parks project.
“They discussed several issues including support in the proposed merger of Lubombo Game Parks, in particular the fencing programme, and the development of 5-star lodges by the private sector.A need to benchmark Eswatini's tourism drive with Turkey was also discussed, as well as the sharing of relevant tourism information to push Eswatini tourism to two million tourists per year. Also discussed was the possibility of cultural exchanges between the two countries,” Eswatini Government online platforms reported.
