NCABANENI HEADTEACHER: I am sorry for punishing students excessively.

NCABANENI: Dalton Kunene, the Ncabaneni High School Headteacher has apologized to the Nation for punishing students excessively resulting to a huge public outcry.

Speaking to this Swaziland News on Tuesday evening, the Headteacher said he was not denying that he punished the students but has since realized that he committed a mistake. 

He said the students had tried to cause chaos by influencing others to protest within the school and he was trying to discipline them.

“Ngicela ungishweletele esiveni kute nami ngitokhona kuphila ngoba nyalo kute langikhona kuhamba khona(meaning: Can you please send my apologies to the Nation so that I can have a life because as the situation stands, my life is stagnant).I understand that I messed up and I am not denying anything, I’m just asking for forgiveness.I am still a young Headteacher who needs advice from time-to-time and I have realized my mistake,” said the Ncabaneni Headteacher.
