MBABANE:Former Senate Deputy President Ngomyayona Gamedze, the Chief Whip of the Political Parties Assembly(PPA) has urged members of the public to boycott Member of Parliament(MP) Lutfo Dlamini’s biggest braai.
The pro-Tinkhundla MP who is the Chairman of royalty linked Philani Maswati Charity Organization is partnering with Mswati’s mother Queen Ntombi Tfwala, the organization’s Patron to host the event next week.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Friday, Gamedze blamed MP Lutfo Dlamini and other Legislators who kept quiet during the arrest of their colleagues MP Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube, only for Dlamini to host a fun event.
“How can you host such an event while your colleagues are languishing in jail despite the fact that they were supposed to enjoy immunity? The Prime Minister said the environment in the country is not conducive for a political dialogue, if it’s not conducive for a dialogue, how can it be conducive for the biggest braai?”, said the former Senate Deputy President.
A questionnaire was sent to MP Lutfo Dlamini, however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Philani Maswati Charity Organization is a royalty linked entity owned by MP Lutfo Dlamini and Mswati’s mother Queen Ntombi Tfwala, the organization normally visits various communities to donate food parcels and promote royalty to the elderly.
The biggest is normally held on the 22nd July 2022 every year.
