MBABANE: Soldiers and police officers who assist the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) won’t be targeted in the ongoing shooting of members of Mswati’s security forces.
This was revealed by the Spokesperson of the underground forces who stated categorically that they had a list of soldiers and the police who assisted them with information when conducting surveillance on their targets.
On Friday evening, the ground forces opened fire and shot Mswati’s soldiers next to Masundvwini Palace, one soldier is reportedly admitted at the Raleigh Fitkin Memorial(RFM)Hospital in a critical condition.
“We know those who work with us and we can assure them that they won’t be killed. Tonight's operation was made successful through intelligence cooperation between SISF and members of Mswati’s armed forces who've organized themselves as Eswatini Pro-Democracy Police and Soldiers Group. We can also confirm that the soldier who was shot this evening is admitted at Nazarene hospital,” said the Spokesperson of the Solidarity Forces.
On another note, Lieutenant Tengetile Khumalo, the Army Spokesperson told this Swaziland News that her office didn't have a record of the alleged shooting.
“The Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force Public Affairs Office has no record of the alleged incident.There is no Operational report that has been forwarded nor conveyed to my office with regard to the alleged issue at hand,” she said.
Members of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) have intensified the shooting of security officers amid the ongoing killing of civilians by Mswati forces merely for demanding democratic reforms.
