King Mswati has a low self-esteem, that is why he hired Praise Singers(Timbongi)whose duty is to boost his political ego by lying everyday, telling him he was ‘blessed’ with wisdom.
In this country, the expectation is that all of us must reduce our thinking to that of Mswati whose political cowardice resulted to the current social, economic and political crisis.
As the situation stands, a political dialogue remains an integral part in the entire democratic discourse but Mswati fears that this democratic process might castrate his dictatorship rule.
The King allegedly threatened and subsequently ordered Member of Parliament(MP) Marwick Khumalo not to travel to the United States(US) for a political dialogue oriented program because he is afraid of Khumalo’s intelligent mind.
MPs Bacede Mabuza, Mthandeni Dube are in jail and Mduduzi Magawugawu Simelane is in exile, these MPs are being persecuted merely for expressing different political views on behalf of the people who elected them.
Mswati is fighting almost all intelligent Swazis with different political views, the name ‘Marwick Khumalo’ causes a political headache for him.
Some of us were still young in 2003 but we remember how Mswati ordered Marwick Khumalo, then Lobamba MP to step down as Speaker in the House of Assembly, the message was communicated by the then Ludzidzini Governor Jim Gama.
It is very disturbing to note that one man who was never elected by the people is busy persecuting elected Members of Parliament(MPs), by extension, Mswati blocked Swazis from participating in the United States(US)Leadership Program because Marwick is a representative of the people.
Indeed, some voices of the people are incarcerated at Matsapha Prison and another voice has been blocked from traveling to the US to find solutions to the ongoing political challenges, Mswati is all out to fight Swazis.
As citizens of this country, we are expected to reduce our thinking capacity to the level of Mswati, once you demonstrate qualities of intelligence, you will automatically face politically motivated criminal charges.
It is very disturbing to note that after snubbing the Southern African Development Community(SADC)on issues of a political dialogue, Mswati is now trying to intimidate even politicians not to engage with other countries at diplomatic level.
On the other hand, Mswati is fighting the independent media not to set him against the international community.
The King wants to kill civilians, refuse to participate in a political dialogue and then expect the independent media to portray him as a good leader.
MP Marwick Khumalo made submissions inside Parliament calling for a political solution to the ongoing political crisis,his sentiments were balanced and intended to unite the Nation and restore peace and stability.
Now, by blocking him from traveling to the US, Mswati is demonstrating that those close to him are having a tough time trying to advise him.
Swazis must understand that there’s nothing wrong with King’s Advisors, we are dealing with a political coward here whose thinking capacity is very low.
