SIPHOFANENI: Nkilongo Member of Parliament(MP) Timothy Myeni and Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule graced the campaign of aspiring MP Nomalungelo Simelane’s (LaZwide) campaign event on Thursday.

The event was attended by hundreds of residents including members of the Swaziland Liberation Movement(SWALIMO).

LaZwide will compete with other aspiring MPs that include Sabelo Ngcamphalala among others in the secondary elections to be held this weekend.

Speaking during the event, Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule urged the residents of Siphofaneni to support LaZwide and vote her to Parliament.

“The police persecuted MP Mduduzi Simelane and prevented him from reaching the people during the delivery of petitions, he was forced to exile. We are now supporting LaZwide to finish the extra-time,” said the Bishop.
