MBABANE: The Spokesperson of the pro-democracy Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF) says they will publish part of the weapons to be purchased with the one hundred thousand Rands(R100,000.00) pledged by a Swazi businessman.

The SISF is an underground pro-democracy unit that was established to protect civilians after King Mswati unleashed his soldiers and the police to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.

Mswati subsequently arrested two pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube for demanding democracy, their supporters were shot and dispersed from the High Court.

“Inkhosi yatsi abasuswe labantfu labaphekuhlabela lapha enkantolo uma kunelicala lebaHlonishwa bayibangela umsindvo(meaning: The King ordered that the MPs\' supporters must be forcefully dispersed from the High Court because they are making noise for him,” said a source.

Speaking to this Swaziland News on Saturday, the Spokesperson said the donation came at a time when they were in need of heavy weapons to intensify their underground operations for the struggle.

He said even though some members of the SISF were already in eSwatini, some were undergoing training to use heavy weapons and explosives.

“This donation will go a long way in assisting us in our duties, we need more weapons for specific targets. Even though this is an underground operation, we will publish part of the evidence on how we used it and the work on the ground will speak for itself,” said the Spokesperson.

This week, a Swazi pledged R100,000.00  towards the activities of the SISF that seek to liberate eSwatini.

On another note, King Mswati when speaking during the Police Day, urged police officers to deal with  the insurgents “eye for an eye”.

“I therefore advise you that as you go about your very important duties, you go out in full alert and in readiness to respond effectively and decisively against any criminal elements and you must meet them eye for an eye,” he said.

Eswatini is in the midst of a political unrest after King Mswati unleashed his forces to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.
