MBABANE: King Mswati is in Tunisia, attending the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development(TICAD).

According to eSwatini Government online platform, the King further held a bilateral meeting with the United Nations Development Program(UNDP) Regional Director-Africa Ahunna Eziakonwa.

“His Majesty King Mswati III attends the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development Conference (TICAD) in Tunisia. While in Tunisia, His Majesty met with Tunisia President Kais Saied and held a bilateral meeting with UNDP Regional Director Africa Ahunna Eziakonwa, who is also UN Assistant General and Assistant Administrator.Meanwhile, Japan has pledged continued support to Eswatini through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) mainly in the areas of health, education and poverty alleviation, among others,” reads a Government online report published by the office of Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo.
