Ex-Nkwene vibrant MP Sikhumbuzo Dlamini donates two loads of riversand to disabled family living in a tent.

NKWENE: Sikhumbuzo Dlamini, the former Nkwene Member of Parliament (MP) has donated two loads of river-sand to the Dlamini disabled family living in a tent.

Speaking to this Swaziland News on Tuesday,the former MP said he sent a truck to deliver two loads of river-sand on Sunday after learning about the family's plight from this publication. 

“On Sunday we delivered two loads of river-sand then by the end of this week we will deliver two loads of plaster sand because we heard from your publication that you got a donor who pledged to build a two room house.I was aware of the family, and as I was about to help them  back then,I was alerted that the Inkhundla would take care of them", he said

This Swaziland News published a story exposing how the disabled family was neglected by Government, Nkwene Member of Parliament (MP)Vulimpompi Nhleko allegedly visited the family and donated ten Rands (R10.00), an amount that can only buy half a loaf of bread in eSwatini.

Reached for comments earlier, Nkwene MP Vulimpompi Nhleko said he was in a meeting. 

"I'm in a meeting, bye", he said.

Former Nkwene MP Sikhumbuzo Dlamini was de-campaigned by the Prime Minister  Barnabas Dlamini after he challenged him in Parliament.

It is alleged that Vulimpompi Nhleko was supported with resources by Barnabas’ Cabinet to become an MP.

The late PM had previously stated that he will ensure that Sikhumbuzo Dlamini, the then Nkwene MP does not win elections.
