MBABANE: Investigative journalist Zweli Martin Dlamini, the editor of this Swaziland News has asked King’s Private Secretary Sihle Dlamini to give him only a week so he could investigate his bank accounts and expose multi-million looting of public funds.
This comes after the King’s Secretary appeared online challenging anyone who accused him of stealing public funds to provide evidence.
“I am a businessman, I was born from a business family, anyone who accuses me of stealing public funds must provide evidence,” said the King’s Private Secretary.
The editor said this publication earned respect locally and internationally by publishing factual stories with evidence hence he would surely assist the King’s Secretary with evidence as per his request.
“On Wednesday, we published evidence substantiating how the King’s Private Secretary facilitated the theft of over R100million on behalf of Mswati. But we will not end there, we are already in possession of evidence substantiating how he looted millions using about ten(10) bank accounts, we just need to get more and then publish. uMlangeni must give me one week and then we will grant him his wish of being provided with evidence. After being provided with the evidence, we hope he will pay back the stolen public funds including the R100million whose evidence was provided today(Wednesday),” said the editor.
