KALIBA ROYAL COUNCIL CONFIRMS: Unknown people burnt Indvuna yeMbali’s home.

HOSEA: Ntontozi Robert Simelane, the KaLiba Governor(Indvuna yeMphakatsi) has come out to confirm that the home of Indvuna yeMbali Ntombikayise Dlamini was burnt on Friday evening by unknown people.

“It is true, but I am on my way to assess the damage since I am very far from the royal kraal", he said.

Reached for comments, Ntombikayise Dlamini clarified that the burnt hut belonged to her mother in-law.

“The burnt hut belongs to my mother in-law. I'm accused of forcing imbali to attend the Shiselweni Umhlanga ceremony. I am a member of the Umhlanga committee and I only heeded to the King’s call and packed my bags to participate in the ceremony without forcing anyone,”she said.

Phindile Vilakati, the eSwatini Police Spokesperson had not  responded to our questionnaire at the time of compiling this report.

Eswatini is in the midst of a political unrest after King Mswati unleashed his forces to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.
