TIMBUTINI:Resigned pro- democracy police officer Sergeant Cebile ‘Cece' Shongwe has bought a coffin for Sisekelo Mavimbela, the two(2)year old boy who died after he was burnt by boiling thin porridge.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, Siphiwe Dlamini,the mother to the two (2)year old boy thanked the pro-democracy cop for the donation.
“He fell on a bowl of thin porridge while we were preparing for a traditional wedding on the 25th August. We rushed him to hospital but unfortunately he subsequently died on Thursday. I am very hurt by losing him and I am not even coping,I would like to thank Shongwe for the kind donation, may God bless her. In the meantime I am pleading for help to transport my son from the morgue,”she said.
Reached for comments, Sergeant Cebile ‘Cece' Shongwe said she was touched by the way the young boy died.
“I got to know about their story from social media in a ladies house group and I was touched by the way the child was burnt and by the fact that the family needed help,”she said.
