LOBAMBA:Ludzidzini Governor Themba Ginindza says they normally consult traditional healers to identify pro-democracy royal guards who are a danger to King Mswati.
This is contained in an ‘intercepted’ cellphone conversation where the Governor was discussing royal issues with another Swazis whose name cannot be revealed for ethical reasons, the issues discussed in the electronic evidence are of vital public interest.
The citizen who was discussing with the Governor sounded concerned that many soldiers and the police are now against the King.
“Sitsemba kutsi kaNgwane kuyaphengulwana, kuyaphengulwana kaNgwane. Kubokalise kutsi hawu-cha lona sale nimsusa, nimshitja sale aya lena nimnike sitalabhu akhweshe lana. Bayakhweshiswa nje kahle, bakhweshiswe kahle, banganaki bona kani sesibatfolile kutsi banje(meaning: We consult traditional healers to identify them and then find ways of removing them like through promotions, without them noticing)”, said the Governor.
A questionnaire was sent to the Governor, however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
On another note, during the conversation, the Governor warned the citizen that they must not discuss sensitive royal secrets over the phone as there were people who ‘hacked’ their cellphones.
It was then that they quickly changed the topic to other issues that cannot be revealed for now pending close analysis of the electronic evidence.
