KING’S SPOKESPERSON PERCY SIMELANE:Sihle Dlamini not authorized to speak on behalf of the King.

MBABANE:King Mswati’s Spokesperson Percy Simelane has clarified that his office has not authorized anyone including King’s Secretary Sihle Dlamini to speak on its behalf.

Responding to our questionnaire on Friday after being asked to clarify if King’s Secretary Sihle Dlamini was speaking on behalf of the King or the office of the Monarchy, Simelane said he was not even aware if the King authorized him.

“My office has not sanctioned anyone  to speak on its behalf since it’s establishment on 1st July 2021. We believe he is best positioned  to say if anyone sanctioned him to preach that day. We are not aware if the King did. We will continue to believe he was exercising his  freedom of speech using a platform of his choice,” said the King’s Spokesperson.

Sihle Dlamini, the King’s Private Secretary established an online platform where he blasted other countries including the United States(US) entities for allegedly funding regime-change..

Dlamini went on to blast journalists including the South African Broadcasting Cooperation(SABC), he accused the international media of pushing an agenda to remove the Government.

The King’s Secretary then challenged anyone who accused him of stealing public funds to provide evidence.

But royal insiders who work closely with  the King’s Secretary told this Swaziland News such sentiments will put some of them in trouble with the King because they had their own skeletons.

“We warned him to stop this thing of challenging journalists and speak anyhow.We have our own skeletons.Phela kulesinye sikhatsi iyakutfuma Ingwenyama kutsi landza nayiya inyamatane, bese wena usika emantjonto landleleni.If you investigate Sihle, definitely, we will also be exposed and the King might dismiss us for stealing his money.Cabanga sekuphuma i-bank statement yami neNgwenyama seyibona kutsi ngasika emantjotjo,” said the high profile royal insider.

In a recent public address, the King’s Secretary challenged those who accused him of stealing public funds to provide evidence.

“I am a businessman and I was born from a business family.Anyone who accuses me of stealing public funds must provide evidence,” he said.

On another note, the investigation into Sihle Dlamini’s alleged corruption including money-laundering exposed how some monies were laundered through bank accounts belonging to the politically connected Jesus Calls Worship Centre(JCWC).
