MALINDZA: Fresh evidence reveals that King Mswati’s security officers allegedly planted bombs inside PUDEMO President Mlungisi Makhanya's home allegedly, with the intention of killing him.
PUDEMO stands for the People’s United Democratic Movement, a political organization fighting for democratic reforms in the Kingdom of eSwatini.
It has been disclosed that State explosives were found inside Makhanya’s house that was bombed in the early hours of Tuesday.
Reached for comments, Mlungisi Makhanya, the PUDEMO President confirmed that State security officers made an attempt to assassinate him.
“They planted State explosives not petrol bombs as earlier reported. What happened is that last weekend, there was some activity within my home, so they thought I am around hiding the car in the garage. They planted the explosives in the two bedrooms just to make sure they assassinate me,” said the PUDEMO President.
Police Spokesperson Superintendent Phindile Vilakati had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
On another note, King Mswati’s Governor, Themba Ginindza, was exposed earlier on Tuesday saying State agents who bomb political activists' homes won’t get arrested.
This is contained in ‘intercepted’ cellphone conversations that further exposed how the Governor disclosed that the State was training a squad to bomb political activists and their properties.
