MBABANE: Barnes Dlamini, the Treasurer General of the Swaziland Democratic Party(SWADEPA) has confirmed that the political party will host an event in commemoration of vibrant political activist Jan Sithole.
The event will be held on Thursday at the SWADEPA offices and will be broadcasted live on Swaziland News online platforms.
Speaking to this publication, Dlamini said as SWADEPA,they dedicated every month of September as ‘Jan’s month’.
“We (SWADEPA) have dedicated every September as ‘Jan's month’ We would want to remind every Swazi and all leaders in particular about the importance of servitude in leadership. Here is a man who dedicated his whole life to uplifting the standard of a Swazi.He would listen to everyone, no matter how young, stupid or even his enemies.He would address everyone with respect,but hammer and drive his point through.I'm sure even the Tinkhundla proponents envied and loved this guy.So Mlangeni, as SWADEPA we would want to always remind our members of leadership principles and their application without fear or favour,” said the SWADEPA Treasurer General.
