Wednesday, 28th September, 2022

MBABANE: Sabelo Dlamini, the Secretary General of the Eswatini Local Kombis Association says they won’t reduce bus fares despite a decrease in petrol prices.

This comes after Dumsani Mngomezulu, the Acting Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Natural Resources announced a decrease in petrol prices on Wednesday.

“Bus fares are not determined by an increase or decrease in petrol prices, there are other costs like car maintenance. Furthermore, we are still using a Gazette for last year, we are yet to apply for an increase in bus fares,” said the Local Kombis Secretary General.
