Deputy Prime Minister Themba Masuku visits Nkwene Constituency donates small packet of Taiwan rice, sugar,beans.

NKWENE: Senator Themba Masuku, the Deputy Prime Minister visited Nkwene Inkhundla on Monday and donated 5kg Taiwan rice,a 500g packet of beans and a  500g packet of brown sugar to the elderly of the area.

Speaking to this Swaziland News after the donation, Mahlasela Lukhele,a senior citizen of Nkwene said the DPM visited their community to mock them with the donation.

“Bekatosiphukuta, he donated 5kg rice, a small packet of beans and sugar,” said the senior citizen when interviewed by editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.

When addressing the residents, the DPM said Government was committed in taking care of the elderly. He also highlighted that the proposed funeral cover for the elderly would be concluded soon by Government and be available to benefit them.
