MBABANE: Wandile Dludlu, the Secretary General of the People’s United Democratic Movement (PUDEMO) has called upon King Mswati to come out and address the Nation on COVID-19 and further declare how much he was personally contributing to fight the virus.
This comes amid reports that the King was in critical condition after he went into a coronavirus self-quarantine shortly after declaring a State of Emergency.
“The king must come out and speak to the people with how much is he personally putting to the COVID-19 pademic fight. He has just displayed before the whole world to be fluid financially by the purchase of 15 Royce Rolls” said the PUDEMO President.
Prime Minister Ambrose Dlamini had announced that a budget meant for the King’s birthday will be diverted to fight the virus, however, the amount was never disclosed. But PUDEMO said the King should contribute from his personal pocket as he displayed to the world that he was financially stable.
