MATSAPHA: Hlobsile Dlamini, the Programs Officer of the Swaziland Action Group Against Abuse(SWAGAA) says victims of abuse are normally frustrated when seeking a license to commit legal abortion.
Speaking during the International Commemoration of the Safe Abortion Day held at eSibayeni Lodge last week, the SWAGAA Programs Officer said as an organization that dealt with victims and survivors of violence, they have never recorded any success in implementing Section 15 of the Constitution that supported safe abortion.
“Victims and survivors of sexual abuse are normally sent from pillar to post when they want to access abortion,” said the SWAGAA Programs Officer.
