MBABANE: Senator Lizzie Nkosi, the Minister of Health says the water pipe that burst on Monday morning, resulting to the temporary closure of Nkwene clinic is being fixed and the health facility will re-open soon.
Responding to questions from this Swaziland News, the Minister said when this journalist contacted and informed her about the crisis, the Ministry of Health's biomedical department was already at Nkwene fixing the problem.
The Minister said drugs were not affected, however computers and the client management system were damaged.
“There was a pipe that burst over the weekend when there was no one there. Issue was reported, the MOH biomedical department went there and was already on site working on it when I got your message. The drug store is not affected as it is a stand alone building. However,computers with client management systems are damaged. These will be replaced and information restored as they are backed up in real time,” said the Minister.
