LUDZIDZINI: “I am a very humble and respectful King”.

These were the sentiments of King Mswati when addressing newly appointed Chiefs at Ludzidzini Palace on Wednesday.

The King urged the new traditional leaders to teach respect in the various communities to restore the identity of Swazis.

“Go to the communities,teach respect and restore the identity of Swazis, here kaNgwane(eSwatini) we value respect. Just like me,I am a very humble and respectful King. The Queen, Princes and Princesses are also humble and respectful, we respect each other in this country,” said the King.

Mswati rules eSwatini as an absolute Monarch with Executive, Judicial and Legislative powers.

Political parties are banned from participating in elections and citizens are killed by Mswati’s forces merely for protesting in demand for democratic reforms.
