MBABANE: SADC Secretariat in collaboration with the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology(ICT) convened a visual consultative media meeting as part of the Regional Indicative Strategic Development Plan(RISDP), Government online platforms reported on Thursday.
SADC stands for the Southern African Development Community(SADC), an inter-governmental organization headquartered in Gaborone, Botswana whose goal is to further regional socio-economic cooperation and integration as well as political and security cooperation among sixteen(16)countries in Southern Africa.
“The Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology, in collaboration with the SADC Secretariat, convene virtual consultative meeting for Eswatini National Media Communicators, Public Relations Officers, Managers and Editors of Public and Community Television, Radio and Print Media.
The meeting was part of the Regional Indicative Strategic Development Plan (RISDP) 2020-2030 and sought to discuss how information can be shared and collaborations strengthened between the SADC Secretariat and media intermediaries from Member States, among other things,” reads a Government online report.
Eswatini Government Communication Officers, Public Relations Officers, Managers and Editors follow proceedings during the SADC Consultative Meeting with media intermediaries.
