MBABANE: National Commissioner William Tsintsibala Dlamini says he has nothing to lose as he long finished his pension and is working on contract.

Dlamini is the beneficiary of the over R100million that was looted by members of the Police Executive Command in 2014, the money was meant to increase salaries for junior officers.

The National Commissioner was recorded by our sources within the Executive Command during another meeting with Station Commanders at the Police College on Saturday, the meeting was meant to discuss issues of salaries for protesting junior police officers.

“I long finished my pension and now working on contract so I have nothing to lose. I committed a crime and looted government money long time ago and now I have nothing to lose,” said the National Commissioner.

Dlamini said the issues of salaries were affecting many police officers adding that he was trying to put pressure on Government to resolve the issue.

A questionnaire was sent to the National Commissioner where he was asked to clarify on what he meant by saying he had nothing to lose, however, he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

On another note, the National Commissioner warned police officers against extravagant spending.

“You must survive according to your salary, don’t overspend,” said the National Commissioner in a recording that was uploaded on Swaziland News online platforms.
