MBABANE: Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini has once again issued a statement that divides the Nation, he condemned the killing of police officers without clarifying why security officers who killed civilians were not arrested.

Tension is escalating in this tiny Kingdom after King Mswati unleashed his police officers and soldiers to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms, the security officers were not arrested.

Speaking during a press conference held at the Cabinet offices on Wednesday afternoon, the Prime Minister urged Swazis to stand-up against what he described as terrorism.

“It is sad that these police officers, and several others before them, have laid down their lives whilst on duty protecting their fellow emaSwati. They were breadwinners in their homes and are leaving behind widows and orphans in their wake. This cannot benefit emaSwati in anyway as it puts further a strain to an already suffering population and economy. We, as a Nation, have been left poorer with their untimely demise. It is very unfortunate that there are, in our midst, criminals who trivialise life so much that for a few Emalangeni reward they are more than willing to take away human life. EmaSwati will not allow them to get away with it.” said the Prime Minister.

On Tuesday evening, Penuel Malinga, the National Organizer of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) was allegedly attacked by State agents who invaded his home and fired a hail of bullets,a Ford Ranger worth about R1million was burnt.

This comes after this Swaziland News exposed King’s Governor Themba Ginindza having disclosed that they were training a squad to bomb political activists and their properties.
