BULEMBU: A dead body was found by Top Two Security Guards at Peak Timber forest around Bulembu on Saturday afternoon.
Reached for comments,Zanele Mhlanga, the Top Two Security Operations Manager confirmed the discovery of the corpse but referred comments to the police.
“We can confirm that in our line of duty we discovered a corpse at Peak Timber forest on Saturday. The matter is now with the police and we advise that you consider contacting the police for further comments,” said the Top Two Security Operations Manager.
A questionnaire was sent to Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson however, she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
The cause of death remains unknown as insiders revealed that police are yet to launch an investigation.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, human rights lawyer Sibusiso Nhlabatsi said a pathologist test must be conducted to determine the cause of death.
“A person has a right to life, that’s why when a human being dies an investigation is conducted to determine the cause of death.In this case, a pathologist test must be conducted to determine the cause of death and if the results or investigation produce a report suggesting that he was killed, those responsible must be arrested,”said the human rights lawyer.
